Reunion

Reunion (another place we'd never even heard of before we began this trip) has quaint villages, lots of waterfalls, cows that still wear cow bells, good wine, a volcano and incredible, intense hiking. If only we spoke more French.

Reunion pretty much goes straight up. You can drive from sea level to 7,000 ft. in under 2 hours. Hike for another 3 hours and you're at 9,500ft! Still with a view of the ocean!
